I can attest to this one since it really hits home for me, personally. Approximately 14 months ago, I was weighing in at around 240 lbs, depressed and in the worst shape of my life. My energy levels were low, trouble sleeping, formed horrible eating habits and it seemed that every part of my life was suffering. I made a promise to myself that I was going to make a change and to improve my health & wellness and had faith these problems would be put the wayside. This is when I found P90X. It provided a wealth of knowledge on both a workout and healthy eating routine that I could modify that worked for me. Fast forward 14 months, I tip the scale at 190 lbs and in the best shape of my life. I eat better, work better, sleep better and live better ... all due to making a committment to improve my overall health and wellness. Our bodies are our temples and we only get one of them. I encourage everyone to make time to take care of theirs. Again, great information and thanks for all your blog entries. Keep it up. May you receive all the blessings life has to offer!

Re: Juvederm just got better

Thank you Mark for your helpful comments. Like you, we think Juvederm XC is going to provide a more pleasant experience for future patients.

Re: Juvederm just got better

I recently got to try Juvederm XC and I must say that I am a believer in this product!

Jill first applied a topical anesthetic around the nasolabial folds (creases that run from my nose to the corners of my mouth). She then proceeded with a very small injection of the Juvederm XC, waited 2 or 3 seconds for the numbing agent to take effect, and then completed the injection. Other than the initial needle stick (which is really quite minimal), the whole process was painless. Compared to previous procedures with injectable fillers, I was actually able to totally relax.

At the last minute, we decided to add some filler to the lower corners of my mouth, where we had NOT applied a topical. Using the same process - a small injection, wait a few seconds, and then complete the injection - it was still a very comfortable process. I really believe that I could have done without the topical altogether, which will save me 20-30 minutes of "numbing time" on my next visit.

Post-treatment was also a much improved experience. I typically review a lot of paperwork during the work day, so I am constantly looking down. The XC formulation really made a difference, as I was so much more comfortable during the workday compared to previous treatments without XC.

My recommendation -- If you decide to use a filler, be sure to ask for Juvederm XC!

Mark W (Knoxville, TN)

Re: If you want plastic surgery, see a plastic surgeon.

Thanks John-Patrick.
